Girl, There's a better life, 2017 is comprised of two letters crossed perpendicularly (one personal, one professional) and two crossed songs (The Animals, “We Gotta Get Outta This Place,” 1965 and The Commodores, “Nightshift,” 1985). The frame rotates intermittently as black and white text renders at varied speeds within the frame amid glitches and lensing that produce some flushes of prismatic color.
